Re: Anyone going to the inaguration?
Too cold and crowded for me. I never even went to Times Square on New Years Eve when I lived in New York.

Re: Anyone going to the inaguration?
Nope. I have jury duty that day so I'm not even sure I'll be able to watch it on TV.

I'm not, but I have some friends that live in Alexandria and they are renting their room for tomorrow night for $500 or something crazy. I know there are people willing to pay thousands for a place to stay.

Bo-ring, if historic.
But I will buy three or four newspapers before going to school and keep them mint in my drawer for a few decades. Like the Pearl Harbor newspapers some people have.

Re: Anyone going to the inaguration?
No way. I don't care if I live 20 minutes away, I'm not subjecting myself to the miserable crowds/cold/etc. without even being remotely near Obama. I'll be watching on TV. Hoped to, but eventually my Dad didn't want me going to Washington alone in those crowds.

Nope. I'll be in class. I wouldn't have wanted to go anyways. 30 degrees, 3 million people - no thanks.

No jury duty that day so I'll definitely be watching it on TV.
Anyone know what time his speech will be?

Isn't it at Noon?

Re: Anyone going to the inaguration?
Does anyone have a good website where I can watch this? (I'd like a good streaming site if anyone knows...)
Edit: I know a ton of sites are going to host it, I was just wondering if anyone knew of one that was better than the rest... (ie better bandwith and loading capacities).

This music is boring, I'd much rather hear the theme song to Jurassic Park.

BARACK OBAMA IS OFFICIALLY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty emotional right now. This is so spectacular.
