Yep, that's the guy, my Senator.

But maybe Chris Matthews will defeat him in 2010.

Nonetheless, he is a good man and one of the few "decent" republicans left.

That was a long time ago, however quite surprised it was him who presented one of the biggest lies of all time.

Lie? I think in most serious circles, the so-called "magic bullet" theory is taken for truth.

Well anyone knows that the whole thing created in the film JFK and sienfield about the bullet doing crazy turns and stooping in mid air is false as the Governor was sitting a few inches off to the left of JFK and lower as well.

However one bullet, seven wounds???

True enough; for a Republican, he's one of the vanishing breed of moderates.

I don't have a problem with Specter, there are rumors though he might retire by 2010 because of health reasons. As far as the magic bullet theory I think that is nonsense. It is more likely oswald got 7 bullets off that that theory.

Franken apparently has a very small lead now (his first lead), and if the articles I've read are correct, he seems to be the slight favorite now.

I was just wondering about this when I saw this thread.

I was thinking, "has minnesota decided on their senator yet?"

I don't recall hearing anything about this contest in the past 2 weeks. Nothing.

Cnn had a report a few days ago saying he passed Coleman but that has been about it.

what is this talk about the GOP is going to challenge if the democrats try to seat Franken? If he wins regardless of the margin of victory they should move on and let be seated. They are looking like sore losers over this.
