Didn't Makeshift go gaga over Wanted?

You might get yourself kicked the fuck out of the club, Loyal! Tread carefully.

Price should get in IMO

Gump aside, he's clearly watched like more movies than anyone (considering his screenshot game ownage), including lots of obscure ones. There's the Sergio love and everything

Watching them and actually ranking them highly are two different things.

FINDING ONE!! but if I have to pick some..
1. Hayao Miyazaki
2. Paul Thomas Anderson
3. Apichatpong Weerasethakul
The rest is between - Fatih Akin / Nuri Bilge Ceylan / Lars von Trier / Alfonso Cuarón / Brad Bird

Top 4 Films of All Time
1. The Hours (Stephen Daldry)
2. Once Upon a Time.. This Morning (Bhandit Rittakol)
3. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Michel Gondry)
4. Spirited Away (Hayao Miyazaki)
5. Dancer in the Dark (Lars von Trier)

Yes yes.. I know.. No Classic(s) (haven't seen many, actually).. I'm trying to watch more..

In order to avoid a potential riot, we'll continue with the applications.

I like your top ten for the most part, JURiNG. Obviously the inclusion of both Overrated Summer Blockbuster A and B is disheartening, but at least their placements aren't ludicrously high.

Both of your top fives are interesting and unpredictable, and this proves to be both good and bad. I'm not the biggest Von Trier fan, but I guess if you're gonna go with one, go with Dancer in the Dark. I'll be honest, I haven't even heard of three of the directors you listed, which makes me wonder if you simply made them up. Either way, this is most impressive. I haven't seen either of your top two movies, so I'm pretty much clueless there, too.

I have no idea where to go with this. Co-chairman, society members... you know what to do.

But then again, I'm seeing Rachel Getting Married and Happy-Go-Lucky either during the weekend or slightly after

Apichatpong Weerasethakul pretty much automatically puts JURiNG into this club, I think.

Also, Fatih Akin is one of the best directors of this decade.
Although apparently he started directing in the 90s :O

She's adorable Makeshift, Trix. Look at the films she's listing. Who amoungst us has even seen The Wackness (well, I have).

And she's braving the cold to see RGM and HGL. :tears:

JURiNG hasn't seen much, but I can't imagine Egypt is the easiest place to find snobby/elitist films. The Hours pick is questionable, but a number 1 film should be given some leeway as it tends to involve a certain amount of nostalgia/irrationality.
I would recommend admission.

I'm tempted to approve JURiNG based on the society's reaction thus far, but I think it's appropriate to at least wait for trixster.

Just to recap, we are waiting on information from be.redy and Price (and will go from there), and JURiNG is waiting on trixster.

Good job, trixster.
