I just heard Brad Edwards saying that Oklahoma being #1 in Coaches Poll only helps Texas's chance (albeit small) of getting BCS 2 slot ahead of Florida.

Alabama should have dropped below Penn State.

If Texas can stay ahead of Oklahoma in the Harris, Texas WILL get in with Oklahoma.

How'd your Bama do today against a mountain west school that didn't deserve to be in the game?

I don't think Utah gave up more than 20 points to anybody all season. I haven't fact checked but I'm somewhat confident in that. They did take care of 3 top 15 teams and 1 other top 25 team. One of those teams was ranked #1 for a period of time as well. Being the only undefeated after that one can't at least not acknowledge that they deserve discussion/votes for a #1 ranking.

I'm so angry and disappointed and embarassed for the big 12 South teams so far. Texas Tech and OSU getting blown off the field was just embarassing to me. I hope and pray that Texas and especially Oklahoma do their job and win to save face for the conference and it's reputation.

Penn State was such a disappointment against USC. Were they as much a joke as Alabama was? That was just a poor excuse of a game and let Mark Sanchez look like Sam Bradford of all QBs. Sickening.

Utah gave up more than 20 points 6 times. The highest was Oregon State with 28.

I think Utah proved again the problem with the current system. They got screwed because they aren't in a big conference.

That is true, but unless there is a playoff, Utah doesn't deserve to play in the national title game. Alabama was around the same level as Penn State. Good, not great, and overrated all year long.

Once again proof that the current system sucks. Go Utah!!! Best teams should get the best games. End of discussion. Whoever wins the National Title Game shouldn't be considered the best team in the country unless they beat Utah.

Had Utah lost everybody would have held that against Non-BCS schools. Now that the opposite happened it should provoke the opposite reactions. But the "elite" schools will defend their system. Keep other schools down.

If you want to be the best school in the country, beat the best schools. That's what everybody says to the likes of Boise and Utah. Well I'm saying that to Florida and Oklahome

And if you want to whistle, Boise State lost and BYU lost (to Arizona of all teams), so munk, don't pick and choose.

Boise lost, but not to a BCS school. They lost by a point to a school that finished second in their division behind the best team in the country.

Great post, you sum up my opinion of it. Utah couldn't do anything else to get that shot and they beat a very good Alabama team, I think they could beat either Oklahoma or Florida.

He keeps running OB WAY earlier than any other player would. Not even attempting to get the extra yards.

That post doesn't really work. Last year Hawaii got worked when they lost to Georgia, they year before that Boise State beat Oklahoma. Each year, one non-bcs school does get respect. Utah did get respect. There should be a playoff but saying that Utah should have been in the national championship is just utterly ridiculous.

Because it's a huge game where every yard counts. From what I've seen all season from him, he only plays for himself.

God I can hardly wait till Fox loses the BCS. They are awful. Screen freezes at least twice a game, halftime show is garbage, and I don't like the color man.
