LOLOL@Soledad's link to King's speech and how he gave a similar speech the night before he was assassinated. And then she smiles.

Re: Can we get an Election Day General Discussion Thread?
Things don't change much after the first update here, Anchorage is the mixed area most everything else is very republican with some exceptions. I cant wait for the day that another party gains some footing here. Indeed, congrats again to Barack.

Passionate Thug wrote: Why haven't they called NC, IN, MO, and MT? MT still has some way to go. The other three are too close, and I think they're waiting for the absentee ballots, which may not be counted until later. I think Obama definitely got NC, should edge out one in IN, and hope the remaining few percentages in St. Louis and Kansas City to make up the ground in MO.

Re: Can we get an Election Day General Discussion Thread?
I was arguing with this one chick and this is how stupid it was.
Girl: What about all the soldiers that will not have jobs when they come back? They lose their jobs. Me: What about the soldiers who won't even come back. The ones that lost their lives? Girl: Not many Americans died over there, More americans die in bike accients a year then they do in Iraq. Me: Not one person should have died over there. That's a living person who had a family that lost a loved one. And to compare them to bike accidents is a disgrace, you might as well be pissing on their graves because they lost their lives fighting for us in a war we shouldnt have started. There IS a diference between supporting the war and supporting the Warrior.
She didnt respond.
