Chuck Todd said Indiana, Virginia, and NC won't be called until very late. (Though at the moment Virginia seems to be swaying blue)

The Obama Syndrome has been contagious in Illinois and Ohio. It doesn't surprise me if there is some spillover to their neigboring states. And do not underestimate what a successful door-to-door grassroot campaign can swing the result.

Re: Can we get an Election Day General Discussion Thread?
Indiana seems almost out of play for Obama at the moment. Still depends on those Lake county voters...but there need to be a lot of them for it to make a difference.

Re: Can we get an Election Day General Discussion Thread?
Blast it. Anne Barth failed to beat Shelly Moore Capito. Anne Barth was suppose to replace Robert C. Byrd in the coming years, but now we have to deal with the very high possibility of Capito running against Byrd (if he decides to run again, he's 92 I think, or if he dies). Just plain UGH. Don't understand her appeal at all. Anne Barth had the backing of Robert Byrd, the GOV, and Hillary Clinton. She'd be the worst possible Senator to replace Byrd in the coming years.
