If Obama is tied, or has a slight lead with these early numbers, I think it's a positive sign. I would assume rural areas report first, which favor McCain for the most part. I remember back on May 6th Clinton had a pretty comfortable lead, I think 6 or so, but once the urban areas began to report their numbers, he quickly closed that gap and almost beat Clinton in IN.

I don't like that the states are spread across 3 pages.

If Obama wins Indiana, it'll be a blow out.

The Kentucky Senate race turned on a dime too. Man, this is exciting.

Because Louisville is reporting numbers now I think. If you have a large urban area report numbers with less than 10% of the vote in ot something, it'll obviously change the results dramatically if it strongly favored one candidate.

If Obama can win IN, it'd be one of the bigger shockers of the night, imo. Very difficult state for the DEMS.

McCain is pulling away in IN now. It's 51-48% with 5% in. So the battle isn't over yet.

All projections based on Fox News calls. Any state listed under a candidate that is COLORED means they are projected to win. Any state NOT COLORED means they are currently leading in vote count.

Obama: 3
Vermont: 3
Indiana (106082 vs. 102648)

McCain: 8
Kentucky: 8
Virginia (13323 vs 10653)
Florida (46443 vs. 40834)

Closing Next:
NC, OH, WV

Don't even think about Indiana until Lake County comes in (which if primary results hold will be very late) That will push the state in either direction.
