 Re: Congo Crisis
The conflicts in the Congo have already killed millions of people. I'm not sure how this is different; the country has been in shambles for over a decade now.

 Re: Congo Crisis
Oh I know about the various border wars Box but this seems far more serious to me because of the racial aspect.

 Re: Congo Crisis
It makes me sad, but I don't know what I can say. :-(

 Re: Congo Crisis
Obviously, this is not nearly as distressing as that Jennifer Hudson story.
Apparently black people dying is only tragic if they're related to celebrities.

 Re: Congo Crisis
It's only tragic in America because they probably got some white blood in them.

 Re: Congo Crisis
The only that concerns me about African countries is how their people get stuck in govts in constant turmoil. It's either live under repressive govt rule or under repressive anti govt "rebel" rule. My thoughts go with the average farmer/person in those countries just trying to live their lives and of course their special natural resource of native animal species.
As to Congo or Sudan, what can we really do about it? I just don't have an idea.

 Re: Congo Crisis
Small encouragement.. Satelites recently noticed an African country was turning 'green'(vegetation) more than others.. Investigation showed this country now lets farmers own the trees on the land vs. 'public domain'. They manage the trees, no longer can any yahoo cut one down for wood..
