 The Second Debate
The Second Debate is tomorrow! Will it attract as many viewers as the 1st debate? Are people more likely to watch this debate after the VP debate or has the excitement waned? Tomorrow night. 9pm EST. Moderated by Tom Brokaw.

 Re: The Second Debate
No idea on viewership. I have a feeling this debate will not go well for Obama. Brokaw has seemed biased towards McCain and the townhall format favors McCain too. Plus as we've said for a while, the press wants a close race.

 Re: The Second Debate
A tie here is a win for Obama. The first debate was also supposed to favor McCain because he was supposedly better at foreign policy.
Obama will knock this out of the park.

 Re: The Second Debate
Having it on a Tuesday instead of a Friday will give it a better audience.

 Re: The Second Debate
It'll certainly attract more than the first one since it's on a Tuesday instead of Friday, and economic crisis has taken even more of a center stage. I expect at least 30% increase in viewership.

 Re: The Second Debate
So far I think between the two of them they have said about three things worth hearing. The rest is just the same stuff, over and over. And it all sounds the same. : (

Brokaw didn't allow Obama to answer McCain's lies.

 Re: The Second Debate
I think Obama is doing great actually. He's answering questions and is connecting with people. You can see it on CNN's little focus group reaction thingy.
The men do not like McCain's answers at all.

 Re: The Second Debate
Look, my friends, I'd give the debate at the half way point so far to McCain, but just barely. Doesn't seem like this debate will change anything at the moment. Though, look, it really wasn't unless something abnormal happened, still time for that though, my friends.
