 The VP Debate It will be this Thursday. Have the expectations been lowered so much for Palin that she can win simply by not being completely stupid?

Re: The VP Debate I'm worried the media and McCain crew will spin it to make Biden look like a jerk.
Either that or Palin won't talk at all, and with all that speaking time Biden will make a couple gaffes.
He's a good on-point speaker though, and he did well in the debates in the primaries for the two minutes he was in them.

The Palin aide, after first noting how "infuriating" it was for CBS to purportedly leak word about the gaffe, revealed that it came in response to a question about Supreme Court decisions.
After noting Roe vs. Wade, Palin was apparently unable to discuss any major court cases.
There was no verbal fumbling with this particular question as there was with some others, the aide said, but rather silence.Source

Palin only gets into trouble when she is nailed down and repeatedly asked a specific question until she is forced to answer it directly. This does not happen in debates. She will be allowed to give rambling off-topic answers filled with cliched lines.

Palin endorses new ideas and energy over experience. Better tell John McCain.
