Ha... what a dick move by McCain to show up on CBS after dropping out of Letterman.

Geez, McCain, if you want to skip Letterman in order to do the CBS News, at least tell him that instead of lying.

I guess lying has become ingrained in McCain's mind these days, he just does it without thinking.

They've adopted the George Costanza philosophy. "It's not a lie if you believe it."

I swear to God I heard, Karl Rove assistant saying they used Dr. Goebbels propaganda methods... You know, if you tell such fantastical of a lie, people will have to believe it.

I haven't watched a full show of his in years. He's just too unbearable to listen to imo. His comedy and schtick is just as bad as Jon Stewart's.

Terrible.

As for McCain not showing up, he obviously had more important things to do than attend his 2nd rate show.

It's not about missing the show. The McCain camp openly and blatantly LIED - which has now become SOP for them. They said that John McCain couldn't attend the show because he was on his way to the airport to get back to Washington for an emergency session of Congress. Letterman then cut to a live feed of McCain sitting in a studio 2 blocks away getting make up on for an interview with Katie Couric.

Letterman has done what the MSM should be doing. Exposing and ridiculing someone who lies right to his face.
