I just hope all this backfires and people realizes what a crock of lies the Republicans are pushing again. Seriously, I don't get it -- they lied to us about war, they lied about corruption, they have run our economy into the ground (even Greenspan says McCain's plan is terrible: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/1 ... 26274.html) -- and people are lining up and believeing everything these guys say again.

It's simply McCain's turn to get blasted. I mean, c'mon. McCain has been blatantly lying about Obama for weeks, if not months. And NOW they decide to start questioning him on it? NOW Karl Rove says that McCain's ad doesn't pass the 100% accurate test? Now Karl Rove CARES that a Republican ad isn't 100% accurate? And even Fox News is taking Tucker Bounds to the wood shed for lying?

It just all seems so suspicious to me. I mean, I'm GLAD that the basic meme that McCain is a liar is finally out there, but I wouldn't count on this lasting.
