Re: Obama Picks Biden for VP
I've never seen such a daily onslaught of articles against a candidate as I have with Obama. Just a constant outpouring of negative stuff about him from op-ed columnists for months now. I would hardly say he's the media's favorite candidate.

Does Pat Buchanan even have his own show?

KidRock69x wrote: Yes, but she is getting one that replaces Abrams. True. Therefore, MSNBC will officially have an Obama bias when she goes on air. That'll be a start in battling the other news orgs. It's outlets like "Censorship" CBS and "Assbackwards" AP that bug me. Fox is okay, at least they're open about their political messaging.

Re: Obama Picks Biden for VP
The key to remember is that Olberman and Matthews and Maddow are/will be OPINION shows. They're not "news". They're like the editorial page of a newspaper. They're allowed to have a viewpoint.
I actually like the idea that MSNBC is becoming the liberal counterpart to Fox. And it is helping their ratings, too. Before, all the conservatives rallied to Fox and the liberals split between a couple of different all news channels.
The problem is when their normal news -- that is, the non-opinion shows -- show bias. I don't think MSNBC fails in that department, unlike Fox, where the "reporters" constantly give their opinions along with the news.

Fox is obvious about it. CBS censoring tapes, that's like a backstab.

Re: Obama Picks Biden for VP
MSNBC is still the network that fired Phil Donahue, despite being the #1 rated show on their network, simply because he was against the war - and then gave Republican Joe Scarborough a 3-hour block of time in the morning. They'd have to remedy quite a bit to get BACK toward being in the middle.
