Aww, damn it. The guy's gonna get silver. I already know the results :( What's the point of watching when you know what's gonna happen, sniff.

To answer Box's question about biggest losers...

Ok to make sense of this chart: here is what you need to know....

It is comparing the TOTAL medal count of 2004 Olympics to the PRESENT medal count of 2008...so some will go from negative to positive...but it is interesting to see how much some have fallen

So BLUE are countries that have 10 medals in the 2008 olympics and the YELLOW are countries that had 10 medals in the 2004 olympics but not in this one....

I just saw Shawn Johnson's vault, and it was really good. She's really grown on me, so I'm happy for her gold. :D

i don't know...but she is always crying...but I think a lot has to do with her face. (no offense). it just isn't the happiest face.

EDIT: I just remembered that she cried a lot because of the floor routine...she bombed.

BTW - what happens when two people tie and they both get a gold - does that mean someone also gets silver and someone else bronze? so 4 people onthe podium? Or is bronze then removed? Likewise if there is a tie for silver?

Silver would be removed in that case.

yup!

I still think they should have just given Liukin and He both gold medals and skipped Silver... Their tie breaker was the dumbest thing ever... it didn't really make sense..

Heptathlon silvermedalist Blonska (Ukraine) caught with doping, that means silver instead of bronze for USA and bronze for Russia
