Hah. Speaking of medal-less,look at the Philippines. Routinely does well in the Asian Games and Southeast Asian Games yet gets beat by the most random countries that don't do well in the regional games.

And she lost.... But after hearing her interview, she has climbed the echalons of my olympic rankings and now is easily top 5. Right after Catriona Le May Doan, Cindy Klassen, Jeremy Wotherspoon and Alexandre Despatie.
Anyone have any youtube links of like uplifting olympic events... I tried loooking for that man who came from a very poor country and had to train in a very small pool and it took him forever to finish and he got a standing ovation... that was my favourite olympic moment I think.

That was an unbelievable race, even more exciting than the 4x200 one four years ago between US and Australia. Could never imagine Jason made up that much in last 50m. And 5 teams broke the old world record set just a day ago.
The women 400m freestyle final was fascinating as well.

The shot of the trash talker (Bernard?) resting his head on the ground in shame is as iconic as Michael Phelps re-enacting STELLAAAAAA!!!! in A Streetcar Named Desire.

You can't get any more uplifting than cooking doves extra crispy in the Seoul games.

LOL " the doves. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
That`s awful.
But fantastic.
They should re-enact that with Pandas at the closing ceremonies.
