So is Dubya gonna be in the studio box all month on NBC... he even feels childish as a commentator.

My God, Team USA (women's gymnastics) has been a tragedy. They only seem to do *okay* if the games are held in the U.S.
Girls, meet the blue mat. Blue mat, meet the girls.

They'd be in first place without those two falls on the uneven bars, I believe. Plus, Shawn and Nastia are #1 and #2 overall at the moment.

They're so... uneven. If they mess up, it's really... it looks like it hurts.

As much as I hate the Olympics and stuff, this is just shameful. We`re a great country, we should be winning medals.

Re: Official Summer Olympics 2008 Thread
That 1 billion viewers claim for the basketball game is undoubtedly BS, considering the total viewing audience in China is only (lol) about 625m, but at least 393m people in China watched the opening ceremony: http://www.thrfeed.com/2008/08/nbcs-olympic-ra.html

Re: Official Summer Olympics 2008 Thread
So what's the age limit for the gymnastics again? I could swear those girls are no more than 14.
