Re: Official Summer Olympics 2008 Thread
It's probably a quarter of that at best. Which is still amazing.
This reminds me of when the Oscars always claim to have 1B viewers. Yeah, right.

Brits go 1&3 in teh women 400m Free. Katie Hoff of US just lost the gold by .07 seconds. She had the lead till the very end. Still though the silver is her 2nd medal in 2 races (got bronze in 400m IM relay).

Did the American broadcast show the hand thing... she would've won if she touched the wall with with the tip of her finger, she touched with a flat hand. Oops.

Re: Official Summer Olympics 2008 Thread
USA 4/100m Free relay team just won the gold and kept Phelps streak going. they had to do it coming from behind to beat teh French. lol, the trash talking French team. they said they were going to smash teh americans. and it looked like they were going to but their last swimmer tightened up at teh end and the americans came back and just beat them to the wall. FUCKING AWSOME RACE!!!

Phelps was soooooooo pumped, heh Box wrote: :tears: CRAP, how could I miss this??? OMFG,did like several teams break the previous World Record all at once??? I think so, in the post race interview the Canadian team (which came 6th) mentioned that they were proud because their number was the record before these Olympics, but obviously the teams ahead of them did even better.

URGH, Canadians The Americans set the world record YESTERDAY, and it was 3:12.2. Wow, 5 of the teams beat the record today.

USA gymnasts aren't that great...they are going out of bounds way too much.

Go Juje Luan... 50 year old Chinese Canadian fencing. Ranked 107th, just beat a top 30 player to make the final 32. Next match in an hour. Woot.
