That woman's got wit. It takes intelligence to pretend to be that vacuous.

Clearly her best work since House of Wax. I'm serious.

Seriously, her video had more substance about energy policy than all three of McCain's ads put together. You figure both videos had writers. So why is that Paris Hilton, who McCain ridicules as a vacuous celebrity, comes across smarter than himself, a candidate running for president who has also been in the Senate for 26 years?

Because the "DRILL MORE!!###" subspecies thinks we can drill magical ponies out of the ground, whereas Paris Hilton understands drilling as a stopgap measure to convert our fleet to alternative energy.

Re: Paris Hilton's response to McCain's ad
I heard the ad in parts then in full sequence on a morning radio show today. I thought it was pretty funny and good satire.

Re: Paris Hilton's response to McCain's ad
What's funny is that the mock-ad really seems to be getting under the skin of the McCain camp.
There was a conservative pundit on Larry King last night who called Hilton's comments about McCain being a "wrinkly white-haired guy" "vicious" and then started defaming her as if she was actually part of the race.

Well, when you get schooled on energy policy from Paris Hilton, what else is there to do?

Quote: The 24-year-old heiress memorized her entire monologue, which included Hilton outlining her energy plan, in an online video spoof posted on Funny or Die, the comedy Web site's content director said. Eh? AP, fact check much?

Very clever. Paris is actually likable in this..
