Re: Batman: The Dark Knight Predictions-3 NEW TV SPOTS!
They cant now; now they cant even really do 8 P.M. or 10 P.M. Thursdsay screenings. Itd piss off all the people who already bought midnight tickets and thought theyd be the first to see it.

amazing marketing in Taiwan. But will that result to amazing numbers overseas?
I think it can do 260-270 million overseas.

Re: Batman: The Dark Knight Predictions-3 NEW TV SPOTS!
Travers from Rolling Stone gave it 3.5 out of 4 stars and compared Batman's struggles in the movie with Michael Corleone's in Godfather II. He said he has nothing but superlatives for Ledger's performance and that he will gladly sign up on the list of people wanting Ledger to get an Oscar. He gave Begins 3/4, so this is actually an improvement. Fuckin' great news I think.

and its only june! Apparently critics and early fan reviews agree with WB on Hancock. It's a piece of shit without Will Smith. Hell, it's a piece of shit with him in it, but it's still a moneymaking P.O.S.

Em, no. This isn't Indiana Jones. I actually expect it to be a good film.

Quote: GETSM was at 24% last Friday.
Fandango is reporting dozens of showtimes for The Dark Knight are sold out in advance, even though the movie doesn’t open until Friday, July 18 at 12:01 a.m. A few theaters have added 3:00 a.m. showtimes on Friday morning, July 18, to meet the consumer demand.
In the meantime, Pixar’s Wall-E (opening tomorrow) leads advance ticketing, selling more tickets than Kung Fu Panda sold at the same point in the film’s sales cycle (the day before release).
Fandango Five – Ticket Sales (as of 6/26/08 9:00 a.m. PT)
Movie Fandango User Rating % Fandango Sales Wall-E “Go†44% The Dark Knight “Go†16% Wanted “Go†15% Kung Fu Panda “Go†4% Get Smart “Go†3%
Fandango Weekly Poll (as of 6/26/08 9:00 a.m. PT) The Dark Knight opens in a few weeks. What's your favorite Batman movie so far?
Batman Begins 62% Batman 18% Batman Returns 7% Batman & Robin 7% Batman Forever 6%

Re: Batman: The Dark Knight Predictions-3 NEW TV SPOTS!
Is Hancock not doing presales?? After next week TDK will make up 90%+ of their total sales. Quote: A few theaters have added 3:00 a.m. showtimes on Friday morning, July 18, to meet the consumer demand. That is refering to IMAX theaters. Regular theater simply add more screens but Imax can. This film is gonna legit triple the imax record for opening day, weekend, and total.
