I thought it was time to update it, because most of those cartoons are really old.

It's hard to believe but this is pretty much their ACTUAL policy. Okay, maybe not THAT hard to believe.

Given Bush's comments, I think they make the point quite clearly. The tasteless part was what Bush said, not the reaction.

Those are fair game given the tasteless subject matter.

Ah, you wish to defend Bush's comment that he had given up golf in order to show support for all the people he has killed by sending them off on a useless needless war?

Go ahead, I'm waiting. Explain to me why Bush is not tasteless.

Did I say that his comments were not tasteless?

Didn't think so. Keep spinning Groucho.

By drawing the awful, TASTELESS, cartoons, the artists are no better, and even WORSE than what Bush said.

Ah, so is there any way to point out how tasteless Bush's comments were without mentioning them, do you think? :funny:

That sentence doesn't even make sense.

I'll try again.

Let's say you want to criticize and satirize Bush's tasteless comments.

How do you do so without using his comments as a starting point? They have to play a part, don't they, otherwise no one will know what you are criticizing?

So my question to you is: How could you have drawn a cartoon that was not "tasteless" if the basic material is "tasteless"?

Can you give me an example?

I think that was his point. But if you want a real catfight, I guess we could oblige. :D

Okay, not a cartoon, but this eviscerating of Fox News by The Young Turks is just hilarious. Fox News accuses Obama, shocking I know, of plagiarizing Mario Cuomo, but uses two completely unrelated clips.

Bonus comment: "If Fox News showed a blue dog and told the audience it was a red cat, Republicans would be like...well...it kind of looks like... I guess it must be a red cat."
