Re: John Edwards endorses Barack Obama
He already let it slip during the NC primary when he said that he would likely endorse the candidate he voted for. "I voted for HIM tonight."

Re: John Edwards endorses Barack Obama
I feel weird rooting against Hillary, because I would be supporting her in any other circumstances. But she needs to GET.THE.HELL.OUT. of the race already.
So...YAY for Edwards endorsing Obama!

Kind of meaningless now. Should have done it a month ago, before North Carolina.

Re: John Edwards endorses Barack Obama
Depends...if Hillary spends a few more weeks as a "candidate" talking about how good Obama would be instead of mccain to her supporters....then she can stay in for a while.

Re: John Edwards endorses Barack Obama
This is good timing for it, with all the flak Hopey* is getting lately about being out of touch. The democratic party has a history of nominating candidates who feel above the base of their party. Despite whatever faults he has (vain, repetitive for two), at least Edwards is very at home talking about bread and butter economics and identifying with the average working class person. So it's great imagery for Obama right now.
This isn't about him winning the nomination, he's done that. This is about healing the wounds that Hillary inflicted.
*That's what the Wonkette site calls him.

Re: John Edwards endorses Barack Obama
The first one officially switches to Obama. http://www.boston.com/news/local/new_ha ... ing_obama/ Joshua Denton of Portsmouth, 26, an Iraq war veteran, says he thinks that both Obama and Hillary Clinton would be a better president than Republican nominee John McCain. He thinks that Obama is the change the country needs, along with having the best chance of beating McCain in the general election.
