 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
A few things so far.
Obviously the refs are idiots.
Popovich is a douchebag.
Van Gundy is by far the WORST announcer in the history of the world.
Tim Duncan is the SLOWEST free throw shooter in the history of the league, and should be called for a technical EVERY time he shoots. You only get TEN seconds to shoot, then it's a technical and the ball gets turned over.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Don't find anything wrong with what Spurs did. Suns should already know Shaq brings two liabilities with him, free throws and lack of speed, when acquiring him, and Spurs isn't winning because of the hack-the-Shaq strategy. It simply looks like whenever playoff started, nobody could stop Parker any more. He just ran circle around Shaq when Suns were caught in a switch.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
I'm not saying the Spurs are winning because they're hacking Shaq.
When you foul someone with NO INTENTION of playing the ball, that is an INTENTIONAL FOUL. It results in a technical free throw, and a change of possession.

Would the Suns be allowed to put in DJ Strawberry to KNOCK Parker the FUCK out?
Because that's what NEEDS to happen.

Suns = fail
Spurs = Na na na na na na
Steve Kerr = Getting the whiskey and vodka out
Dirk = We're not the biggest chokers this year? Great success!

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Pistons will dominate Game 4.
And then dominate in Detroit.
It may go 7... but if it does, Detroit wins.
Philly NEEDS to win tonight to have a shot.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Wow... I definitely did not see this coming with the Detroit vs. 76ers series. Watching that game 3 really has me a little worried, because they did NOT lose that one because of their typical lack of focus... the 76ers are just so athletic and active that they're making the Pistons starters look old and slow, and it really took them out of the game. I can definitely see why Philly was 22-12 to finish the season... they're much better than their 40-42 record suggests. However, the Pistons should not be having problems with them like this. Game 4 is as close to a "must win" game as you can get for the Pistons. If they win it, I think they'll be ok... it'll be a 3 game series with 2 at Detroit. However, this does not bode well for the rest of the playoffs, even if they do survive.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Well, Raptors are in the crap now.
Even though I don't usually like this excuse, we probably lost today because Calderon didn't show up, but there was some fucking horrible officiating that game. Howard could pretty much push our players around as much as he wanted, and the refs apparantley don't know what a goaltend is. Turkoglu was also pushing off like mad.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Oh, and it and while it's not official yet, it looks like Larry Brown will be coaching the Bobcats next year. I'll be very surprised if they don't make the playoffs next year, they easily have the guns, now with good coaching they should fly. Though the East playoff race should be a bit more competitive if Miami gets Rose or Beasely and the 8 teams that got in this year stay afloat (I could see Philly being the most likely to have a letdown, kind of like Golden State this year)

Denver is the worst (playoff) team in the league. All that talent and they can't do shit with it.

If... When... The Suns get swept tomorrow... I'm denouncing them.
Now my loyalties are 90% with Detroit... and 10% with Boston.
Unless they play each other... then Detroit.

What the hell is this announcing the shot clock bs, seriously you have the guy shouting defense and then a second later telling you that you have 5 seconds to shoot the ball, really good job Atlanta.

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
This game is such FUCKING BULLSHIT, seriously there are five seconds on the shot clock when the ball goes out of bounds but all of a sudden its a 24 second violation, the refs couldn't be more biased if they tried. What the fuck?

 Re: NBA 2007-2008 season
Horford just made the BIGGEST mistake of his career.
Are you kidding me? TAUNTING Pierce while he's on the ground, in the playoffs?
Pierce is going to drop 40+ on Atlanta in game 4.
Goodbye!
