 Re: March Madness 2008
Kind of surprised no-one has been able to stop Curry like, at all. I mean it's not like he's a Lebron like player where he can score from wherever he wants so it's impossible to guard him, most of Curry's shots of just regular jumpers and 3 pointers... It's funny to see the other teams try and clamp down on him for the entire possesion, then as soon as an inch of room comes up, he gets the ball and scores. I think like Flav'd said though that he won't be as good in the NBA unless he learns how to play point guard(he's only 6'0"), he might end up being more like a Daniel Gibson-esque player.

 Re: March Madness 2008
In term of seedings, Kansas will basically have the "easiest" route a No. 1 seed could have faced.

Well he could be like Reggie Miller, although Miller is taller. I think the problem team has is that Davidson have other weapons and it makes it tough because you double him it opens up someone. I think Davidson can make it to the Final Four. Their defense just shut Wisconsin down.

We're college basketball fans sick of seeing the same teams win all the damn time. There's no need to be a condescending jerk either

 Re: March Madness 2008
Love rules all I think we'll see at least 3 #1s in the Final Four now. I think Texas can maybe beat Memphis or Davidson can pull the uber miracle on Kansas, but I can't see both happening simaltaneously.

 Re: March Madness 2008
Kansas will win it all this year and it will be Texas vs Kansas in the final game. Once again the Big XII is the most underrated confrence in the nation while the PAC-10 is highly overrated this year (UCLA should have lost to Texas A&M, in fact they should have never been a one-seed seeing as they won many of their games by admitted bad calls)

 Re: March Madness 2008
Could we get some competitive games, please? There may be more parity than ever in term of teams who can win one game in the tournament, but certainly not at the top. The No. 1 teams, except for some stretches for Memphis and UCLA in the second round, have been dominating. They all look pro teams comparing to even the second tier ones.
Go Davidson! Beating a No. 3, No. 2, and 3 No. 1 seeds would've been a accomplishment to be talked about forever.

Looks like the pressure is getting to David(son).
Specifically, Curry.

I would rather see a Cinderella crushed than a #1 lose to an undeserving team.

 Re: March Madness 2008
Yeah this sucks. Davidson showed, throughout the season in fact, they could play with anyone in the country. Curry will stay in school, and they will be back with another shot next year.
On the last possession, I'd rather see Richard bringing up the ball and others screening for Curry as they had done before.

Curry gave it up. For what reason?
Rookie mistake.

Rookie mistake. He is a sophomore. And he had three guys on him; the ball fake got one defender by, but another one quickly covered up. That's good defense. The one he'd be thinking about is the one he missed with about a minute to go that'd have cut the deficit to one.
