Bosnia may have only been the begining...
I was reading thi shere brilliant article http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1206636 ... columnistsand they make a good point. Heres a quote: Quote: That's what the Bosnia story was about. Her fictions about dodging bullets on the tarmac -- and we have to hope they were lies, because if they weren't, if she thought what she was saying was true, we are in worse trouble than we thought -- either confirmed what you already knew (she lies as a matter of strategy, or, as William Safire said in 1996, by nature) or revealed in an unforgettable way (videotape! Smiling girl in pigtails offering flowers!) what you feared (that she lies more than is humanly usual, even politically usual). We all know Hillary lies...but the Bosnia I think hints at a far deeper problem. Lets be honest. She didnt misspoke. You dont accidently say what she said when you know what really happened. I believe Hillary may be crazy, literally crazy. Watching the campaign go on, she continues to look worse and worse...she cant believe she's losing-LITERALLY. The Bosnia claims offer a glimpse at what is really going on inside of her head. In the verrrry backo of her head, theres an alarm going off saying "go on the offense!". You combine chronic, habitual lying with this alarm, and you get stuff like the Bosnia story, and we'll probably get a lot more. How the hell do some people still honestly trust her?

I take it you've never exxagerated a story, specially if you thought you'd gain from it and never get caught?
She lied about it. Stupid move. Go on with your life...

She lied about it. Stupid move. Go on with your life... It isn't a little white lie, Sam. It's not like she's claiming to have read The Lord of the Rings, when, in fact, she's only ever briefly skimmed the first chapter. She lied in a bald-faced attempt to force her way into the presidency of one of the biggest superpowers in the world. To flip your argument on its head: so what if OJ exaggerated his innocence. I take it you've never exaggerated your innocence, 'specially if you thought you'd gain from it and never get caught.

Snrub so what if you gave that girl a little direction when you put that rape drug in her drink. i take it you've never pushed a girl a little bit, specially if you thought you'd get some ass out of it and never get caught.

I'd like it if you'd now and then give a sense of how this is all playing in Britain. Not this one issue but the various things.

She lied about it. Stupid move. Go on with your life... Last night, I single-handedly saved the lives of three pregnant women at a local bank heist, simultaneously suffocated two heavily armed robbers using money bags, all the while playing Battle Hymn of the Republic on my harmonica. Errr, I mean, I played tennis.

I suppose the biggest difference is that we get our news in handy bite-sized summaries, and without the not-so-subtle spin your news networks puts on the candidates. For what it's worth, I think that if we were the 51st State and got a say in the nomination, Britain would probably go 90/10 in favour of Obama.

I watch BBC News here every now and then to try and get a more balanced approach to the news.

I read an article in the paper back in January/February that said Canadians favoured Clinton at about 65/35. Not sure if that's still the case, although I suspect most people in other countries are more familiar with Hillary simply out of name recognition and her time as first lady.
