I would, but she has me on ignore and never responded to this PM I sent her. She asked me my problems with her and I responded, she never responded back. We could've worked out our issues then but she didn't care about me.

If this is not the place for these discussions, why on earth did Baba say to do it here then? If this ain't the place, maybe move all these threads to the Watercooler instead of just locking them?

Mods are allowed to put people on ignore? I hope that's not the case, and jujubee and Korrgan, it's a piece of cake.

What do I have to do, call out an enemy here and completely bury the hatchet and wipe the slate clean with them for you guys to see? I'll do it if you guys do it.

I personally would have loved to lock it, and wanted to yank out my eyeballs when I saw it, but that's just me. I didn't because, well, many reasons.

I have one request and one request only:

If this thread is about complaints about mods/admins actions in general, then please keep it on topic. Address your issues with mods' and admins' actions. DO NOT use this thread as a way to prolong the drama and attack specific members/mods. Otherwise, this thread will be locked.

the decision was made by jujubee. we expect her to make decisions like this. we do not always expect her (or even ourselves to be right) but we expect her to. we also expect her to consult everyone if she is not sure (this goes for the admins and other mods as well)

as eagle has stated, and so have i now, we both feel what she did was perfectly justified.

That's good.

Now to expand on the private messages I had with jujubee, I ended it becaus of her "Yep. I'm Psychic" line. Sarcasm? Yes. Mean Spirited and/or Spiteful? Maybe. I say maybe because of her "you begged" line before locking the thread, which I never did and was an obvious spiteful comment. And this is why Korrgan and Mr.X have problems with her I believe. These types of remarks. But I didn't want to talk to her about it in another thread, so I PMed her about this. Then the psychic line. This is why I feel there is a double standard and why I don't feel comfortable asking half the staff about something.

admins in general, will never ever put any member on ignore. they cannot. it will never happen on this board.

mods are discouraged however at times, allowed to do so if the issue gets more personal for the exact reason stated in here. any mod that ever ends up making any negative statement/decision in regards to a member they've been constantly scuffling with will continue to take that as an attack against them (as to me, has been proven over the last few weeks consistently). yes, the same will happen with admins as well but admins really are the final authority on the baord here and must live with people accusing them of based or baseless comments.

People are passionate about this crap because ultimately so little is at stake. This is unbelievably petty.

In general, mods deal with the mundane issues on KJ. Sticky this, move that, merge those, lock this, etc.

If there are specific flame wars, or disciplinary action, I prefer it be a group decision, or if one person is going to make it, that the person is Nebs or another admin. Personally, I don't believe putting someone on ignore is a terrible thing, especially in the case we're talking about.

If it was an admin, I might have an issue, a mod, I don't really mind.

i do not wish to comment on your personal messages with jujubee as i do not know if i'm hearing the complete PM story here. irregardless, if jujubee is not solving the issue, you come to me, krem (who is surprisingly back), nebs, eagle or loyal. Preferably krem and nebs as they do not get into scuffles with people and because thats what they've been appointed to handle!! :)

Then why can't we ignore mods? It would solve a lot of things if I could just block her ill comments. But I can't.

To add to this, one of my issues with jujubee stems from an ongoing argument she had with Corpse a few weeks ago. Corpse gave a pretty big reply to what was being said, and jujubee's reply was "Wow, did you even read what you just wrote? :hahaha: " I feel that was horribly condescending for a mod to say that to someone, simply because they didn't agree.

I posted the complete PM conversation. She can confirm what I posted was the entire conversation.

Anyway, I'll start PMing I suppose Krem or Nebs with issues like this from now on I suppose.

Because a mod is the authority on the board, and if something specific happens, they need to be able to communicate with anyone.

That and it's the way phpbb designed the board.

Well, I don't know, I just got back here myself. I think it's a simple fix that they could both do right now if they wanted to. I don't think ignoring the "problem" is the mods job. What's protocol for that? Do they inform you guys when they do, and if so, how come nobody contacted Korrgan directly to see what was up?

Mr. X,

Mods and Admins are people too. We can get fed up, upset and frustrated just as easily as anyone else.

In 99% of these situations, and 100% of the one's I've dealt with, things tend to be a two way street. Very rarely is anyone fully at fault, more than likely it's a joint fuck-up.

Korrgan and Corpse haven't exactly been the welcoming committee for Jujubee, and I'm sure they've taken some of her posts negatively. Both sides likely need to just step back, be civil, and move on.

He means:

Mods are posters too, posters who occasionally put on their Mod hat and do some Mod duties. He was asking if she had her Mod hat on and was talking for the forum, or speaking just for herself.

Oh cool, there's a little switch they can flip so mods can pick and choose when they're a mod and a normal user that can be catty to people and show no respect! I didn't know that. I thought you're either a mod or you're not a mod. Not a mod some of the time. Learn something new all the time.

Post Re: My Mod/Admin Complaints
To summarize, these are the complaints I've heard aboud mod/admins actions:

1. Inconsistency in locking threads. This is most likely an issue because not everyone is online at the same time. PM an admin if you feel a thread has been unjustly locked or should be locked and has not been.

2. Mods can ignore regular posters, but regular posters can't ignore mods. That's a feature of the board, not something we can change. In general mods shouldn't ignore regular posters; admins never do it.

3. Mods abusing their powers. Please address this with an admin.

i do not disagree. i personally feel this entire thing is a petty issue. i however have an issue with all of this being just a certain's mod's fault when the admin/mod team has clearly come out and said that we do not claim to make the right decisions every single time.

look, i don't even understand why this whole issue is continuing. the jew comments were passed, after which jujubee made a very simple statement that 'she does not appreciate the jewish remarks'.

such comments have been made before after whcih no one cared. jujubee never pursued this yet others continued to adopt an overly negative attitude towards her. this attitude is not me saying "hey juju, why did you do this' or can you clarify 'why you did this while here, you didn't'.

jujubee, outside of threads where people clearly asked to be judged has made decisions, popular or unpopular. those who have an issue with her and have been vocal about it have continously made attacks towards her even when she has not volunteered for these attacks. THIS is my central issue with this entire thing.
