I really wish they would let Florida and Michigan vote again, that would crack me up.

Peace, Mike Obama's losing a little bit of his lead in Harris. Hm, not good for him. Let's see how El Paso does, although it's so overwhelmingly in favour of Clinton that I expect her to remain in the high 60s there.

That is why the Dem process is so ridiculous. 120K get 1/3 of the delegates, and 3m+ will only get 2/3's of the delagates. It reminds me of Animal Farm, "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others." With a system as bat-shit crazy as this it is no wonder, that the Obama or Clinton supporters will feel robbed.

Yep, you're totally right, I really think Dems have to be very careful here not to disenfranchise their voters.

I think at some point Howard Dean will sit them both down to hatch out a plan. Hillary/Obama is an unbeatable ticket and guarantees Dems in the White House until 2024. When will you guys learn. Saying things like unbeatable doesn't make it true.

73% precincts in for Texas. We're almost there! Soon we should know who wins this one, hopefully.

 Re: March 4th Championships
Yeah, Hillary should have Texas now. Obama is running out of votes; I see the best case is to gain another 80,000 in his three biggest areas, but Clinton should have enough to counter from El Paso alone. She will probably win by 60,000 votes.

I've been saying it for a while now: I think Hillary wins TX, OH, PA, and secures the nomination via brokered convention. I think she offers VP to Obama, he turns it down. I think the party has issues, black vote turns away, they lose the general election because of this mess.

Clinton has gotten more votes than Obama, after tonight. Obama has his lead due to the Caucus system.

 Re: March 4th Championships
Since the precincts Houston, Dallas, and Austin are in have the biggest number of delegates, the delegate distribution from the primary should be basically a split. Obama should gain about 10 from caucus. Overall, I think Clinton wins about 20 delegates total from today's results.

loyalfromlondon wrote: no way Obama turns down VP. Highly unlikely. I disagree, strongly. If he runs on the ticket, he is an Edwards clone. He needs to just let Hillary run, on her own, lose to McCain. Honestly, it's the best thing for him. Think about it: - He goes back to Washington, continues to make a name, builds experience, shoring up his biggest weakness. - McCain gets to deal with this nasty recession - Obama runs against him in another 4 years, easily winning the nomination and likely the election. I've always felt McCain is a 1 term president.
