Silly, Rod.. it's not based entirely on the interview!

The interview was a small, small part of it. The interview was simply to make sure the selected person would be trustworthy and not cheat on me.

Most of this is based on how badly it appeared you wanted the position, and a large part is stuff outside of this thread... such as how we've clicked together in the past, how active in the KJ community you are, and stuff like that.

Unfortunately, this scoring puts the relative new people to KJ at a massive disadvantage, but being a high powered duo was my initial #1 priority, so I didn't want to compromise that.

So are you going to narrow it down to 3 and then do a dramatic reveal [s]after the commercial break[/s] tomorrow?

You're already conceding the #1 duo spot? That was much easier than I thought it would be.

I'll have to talk with my eventual partner, but I see no reason why we couldn't broker a peace deal and even team up together on occassion.

I'll see how far I get... it will either be top 5 tomorrow or top 3. I definitely won't do them all tonight.

I like Chippy, but he clearly didn't want this.

I don't disagree with that logic, but on a fundamental level he's a more desirable candidate than getluv (still love ya luv, but you're a solo player and that ain't changing soon)

I realized that if I partnered with Dr. Lecter, I'd be seeing a lot of Hasselhoff between his avatar and the signature picture. Even if I photshop a few boobs into that banner, I'm not sure I could handle that much Hasselhoff, or that we should inflict that much on the KJ community.

Dr. Lecter is a hell of a guy in my book, but this cut was ultimately good for all of mankind.

I can't disagree... ultimately the desire was what placed getluv higher. He was really, really active in this thread, and even went so far as to change the tag above his avatar to signify how badly he wanted this.

Maybe he had another hidden motive, but from what I could see getluv really wanted the job, and that counted a lot.

Ron was one of the most active people in this thread, and another great personality. We had a lot in common - in particular, he's got a great taste for the ladies. He's just another one that fell simply due to his lack of forum activity, but I think we would have made a kick ass duo.

He's another one that I've grown to be a big fan of through this competition, and he's another that I'll put on a list of potential back-ups if this duo fails.

I must admit that I thought getluv and I would have been a very interesting duo, but I'm not sure that would be good, either.

Lecter should be higher, but honestly all of these last 11 are going to be really, really tough cuts. Every single one of the remaining ones are well respected, top notch KJers that I get along with really well.

But....you know! There must be a way to change your mind about me being a worthy companion. Bribes? Why can't you be LAPD? Then again that might only hurt me

And who says this duo will be two dudes? Maybe I'll pick a girl... or maybe I'll pick a guy and get a sex change... or maybe I'll pick a girl AND get a sex change. If it means becoming the #1 duo, I'll do it. No price is too big.

Well, keep in mind that this has nothing to do with how well I like each person. With Dr. Lecter, he really lost some points just out of compatibility... I don't think he even knows what an Xbox is and if I asked him to play with my Wii, he'd probably touch me in my danger zone. I'd like that, but it shows we may not be able to do cute things like finish each other's sentences.

MikeQ is another terrific guy that I like a lot, but ultimately there were just a few more ahead of him that appeared to want it more and/or had slightly more compatibility (he likes hockey! ).

I still worry about soiling his good reputation. Plus, I'm not sure how that "Peace, Mike" tag will look after he has to throw a bunch of insults toward the Rainbow Sisterz... "you smelly whore. Peace, Mike". I can't do that to him.

I still can't really believe you really want to be part of a duo! Don't you like being a rebel and a loner?

Thank you... it was an honor to have you in the competition. You remind me of a young me, or an older Filmo. Somewhere in between there.

During the hiring process it was discovered that Mr X was "married" to Korrgan and in constant secretive contact with Corpse... both of the dreaded Rainbow Sisterz!

I like Mr X, but there is simply no way I could have trusted him as the other member of my duo with that severe conflict of interest. However, without that, he would have scored very high.

Having Rod in the competition reminded me how I don't talk to Rod enough... he's almost as funny and charming as I am. If Rod only owned an Xbox 360 and hung out in the gaming forum, then we'd have been on like Donkey Kong and all your base belong to us.
