 Not Liking YouTube Clips in Signatures The YouTube clips in signatures is slowing down every page load they're on, sometimes multiple times, plus major scrolling action.  But, maybe it's just me...

Re: Not Liking YouTube Clips in Signatures I'm with you on this one, bradley. Usually I just block images in signatures that I don't want to see, but I can't do it with videos. It'd be better if the video was just removed altogether.

Re: Not Liking YouTube Clips in Signatures Gifs cause more problems for me. Like when Excel had 3 or so in his sig. The videos dont really slow anything down for me though.

billybob for one He's all I've noticed. And it's not so much about slowing down the site, it's more just a visual eyesore. If it's a picture I don't want to see, I block it, but I can't do that for embedded videos. Re: Not Liking YouTube Clips in Signatures I agree there should be a policy shift with regard to signatures. Some people's are too long, others too flashy, and youtube videos simply have no place in a signature.
We will discuss it among the mods and admins and come up with a new rule.

Re: Not Liking YouTube Clips in Signatures Bradley and trix have read my mind, because for about a week now I kept thinking about making a thread asking for youtube videos to not be allowed in signatures, or to ask if there was a way to block them. Ultimately, there isn't, and I find them to be an eyesore. But I can't simply block them like I do photos/gifs; otherwise, I wouldn't be complaining.
