(I think Boston will be the only remaiing undefeated team by this Friday night.)

Who will be the last team to get their first win this season?
Portland
Washington
Minnesota
Miami
Golden State
Chicago
Seattle

Based on their schedule, I think Golden State will be the last remaining winless loser of the bunch.

Even with a loss I'm pretty happy we held so tight to Utah with all our big players playing like total garbage. Bosh 5-12 and 4 of those buckets came in the last 3 minutes. Bargnani 1-11(argh stop chucking). Calderon 0 assists. Ford 5-17 and the most lol last play ever against coach's orders. The d has been really great this year, if only they could shoot in more than half the games...

Even scarier.. jeez. Bilups, Kobe, and Sheed? Would not have wanted to face that.

Where did you see that? I haven't heard that one. All I've heard is that Dumars has repeatedly said he wasn't interested in Kobe and that chemistry was very important to him, and he thought bringing Kobe in would disrupt that. I know Billups and Hamilton would not be happy being separated.

Anyhow, if that was true I'm very happy Kobe nixed it. I do NOT want Kobe on the Pistons.

On another note... I just want to say that the Celtics are overrated. They're cruising fine now, but just wait until the later part of the year when they are worn down and playoff style basketball begins and a few of their big guns get shut down with some real defense. But, I like their presence in the East... Detroit needs some real motivation and competition, and a team to make them feel like the underdog again.

Oh, and lastly... I want to laugh at Kill's GSW... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA... they blew a 22 point lead to the Pistons last night. That was fun to watch.

Supposibly it got reported on Detroit radio and then things kind of got out from there, lots of LA papers and nba sites saying it. Maybe it's bull, can't really tell with Kobe ever, but it's being momentarily accepted anyways. Doesn't matter now.

Phoenix could get him for Marion, Barbosa, and Atlanta's first round pick. But the Lakers don't want to trade within the division.

A 17-0 start in the second quarter by Trail Blazers. :noway: It's interesting how Portland is doing well without Oden, while Seattle is struggling with Durant and Green.

Not having Randolph black holing the ball really opens up things for guys like Webster, Outlaw, who can play. And I think their chemistry is probably 100x better now. But I think there's maybe 1 playoff spot open in the West, so I can't see them making it. Everyone is screwed in a couple years though.

Way too close for Miami, but then again they're no 1-7 team with D-Wade.

close win for celtics; and lebron continues to play outside his mind; he honestly could be averaging close to a triple double a game by the end of the year while leading the nba in scoring :whaa: :whaa:

after tonight he averaged 32.4 ppg; 8.9 assists per game, and 8.7 rebounds per game.

This could be it; th eseaosn lebron take sover as the undisputed best player in the Nba...

I'm not sure about the other teams, but the next five games for the Celtics are very winnable.

Fri, Nov 9 Atlanta 7:30 pm - W 106-83
Sat, Nov 10 at New Jersey 7:30 pm - W 112-101
Tue, Nov 13 at Indiana 7:00 pm - W 101-86
Wed, Nov 14 New Jersey 7:30 pm - W 91-69
Fri, Nov 16 Miami 7:30 pm - W 92-91

They may lose a road game in there, but they should go 4-1 if not win all five.

8-0

Is it possible to steal a win even though you lead most of the night? If it is, the Celtics just pulled it off.

Sunday's matchup against the Magic should be a lot of fun to watch.

Just commenting about some players on my fantasy team.

Gilbert Arenas-putting his swelled up knee behind him he's been in grade A form lately.
Manu Ginobli-a consistent performer and playing great basketball early in the season
Leandro Barbossa-putting up nice numbers lately and once Grant Hill gets injured it's more points for me

Richard Hamilton-consistent as always
Chris Wilcox-not a household name but a decent performer
Lamarcus Aldridge-I took a chance on him and he's delivering while Oden sits out this year.

That fourth quarter was colder than the arctic. 2-21 at one point I believe.

Celtics didn't get a win tonight, but I liked the effort they put in the second half. After falling behind by 21 in the first half they outscored the Magic 61-46 in the second half.

One more thing though. The officiating in this game was not very good, especially in the first half. The C's were 18-26 at the line. Dwight Howard by himself was 10-20. The rest of the Magic were 21-24 for a combined total of 31-44. The Celtics lost by two points. Think the difference came at the line?

Despite that, I'm glad that if the Celtics were going to lose it'd be to a good team like the Magic. Now they need to stay out of foul trouble and get things back together (they were one Paul Pierce three away from winning) and get ready for the Warriors on Tuesday at the Garden.

New Jersey's offense is just simply pathetic without Carter. Since they lost him, they've only scored above 80 points twice. They're awful right now.

I swear Dirk just hit 5 3s in a minute 30 seconds or something. Literally jacked it up first touch on all possesions in last couple minutes, and cash. EDIT - It was 4

Get a 25 point lead in Dallas and blow it... yep, same old Raptors. Kind of an eerie thing with them Mavs.

I think they'll be ok, he's already been out for a few games and they've been winning big, the team is solid with Butler/Jamison/Haywood already and they've actually been playing defense. They won't be great but I think they can try for the bottom of the playoff standings when he gets back.
