It was 'just' boarding, and he got a game misconduct and everything, and Bergeron was alright. I'm not saying I disagree with you, jmart, I'm just saying what the league's mentality is. Colin Campbell - the head of disciplinary action - is an utterly useless bureaucrat and as slimy as they come, so that should tell you how much I agree with it.

The sad thing is, I buy most of the league's mentality too behind their decision. The only thing I don't get is how they could say he wasn't trying to hurt Bergeron.

Zetterberg with ANOTHER goal.
Datsyuk with an assist and +1.
Malkin with 2 goals, an assist and +3.

That's like 17 points from THREE players!!!

Before tonight:

1. Angry Beavers 340.90 4 5 -
2. Shack the Ripper 316.80 12.1 4 -
3. Munky Wings 303.10 -0.89999999999998 3 -
4. jmart007 288.10 12 2 -
5. trix are for kids 250.90 14.5 1 -

Making a slow burn on Mike. I HATE his defensemen, Markov, Hamrlik, Phaneuf, they always get 1-2 points a game and it kills any chance I have of catching up. Luckily they got none tonight, though Crosby...

Chip probably passed me

Urggh, I have 3 players injured right now. I hate it. There's no way I can keep up my pace if I keep losing players.

Peace,
Mike

I think I only have 1 defensive player not injured... I'm doing fine!

Because Zetterberg is amazingly good.

You have one forward injured and one defence injured. I have two forwards and a defenceman out. Although hopefully my DTD's will return soon. :(

Yeah, Niedermeyer isn't an unlucky injury though. No offence, but it's your own fault for drafting him. The rest of us successfully avoided him. Heh.

Peace,
Mike

I didn't know :(

I only follow the Wings... Maybe I should've just drafted all of the Wings!

I keep waiting for Zetterburg to slow down but it's just not happening :disgust:

Crosby's passing him soon though, even if he does keep putting up points.

Zetterberg with 2 more goals, one a power play.

Dasyuk with 2 assists.

Malkin with an assist.

Alfredsson with 2 goals, 2 assists, and a +3.

Giggy so far hasn't let any goals in yet...

I got Lundquist with a 2 goal 31 shot shutout, Kovalchuk with 3 goals, Lidstrom with 2 assists, Gaborik 1 goal 1 assist, Heatley 2 assists. So that's 31 without +/-, which could go either way.

Fuckin' Oilers.

They've outplayed the Preds for almost the entire game, but Dan Ellis - who the fuck is Dan Ellis?? - is some kind of super goalie now, robbing the Oilers no less than half a dozen times. And then Edmonton's terrific defense shows its true colours, and forget how to cover opposing players in our zone. So the game went from being kinda frustrating but super exciting to simply a disaster. And we lost another defenseman. That's four already this season.

Yeah so I guess Ottawa is kinda good. Even though the Bruins lost both games, I thought they played them well. It would've been nice if we had grabbed a couple of points but at least we got one.

Not a chance. If anything, it's the NFL. And it's already kinda started.

Seriously, I'll never stop watching hockey. I'll just have to find a new team. Probably Ottawa.

Another overtime game for the Bruins. Hopefully unlike the last one against the Senators, they can pull this one out.
