?

The days save rosters individually. eg. You can set up Gilbert and whoever else you have playing on Wednesday, then on Thursday drag in the lineup for that day, and so on for Friday, etc.. If you save after each time, it should stick. The unrosterized days should be default as the one before it, that's probably why it shows Ellis as the weekly guy. It just needs to be picked.

Yes, what Shack said. They are saved individually for each day.

makeshift, your roster looks fine until Sunday, save for Saturday. You can put Head in lineup if you put Carter on F position, and Head on SG.

That is, if you're like me and set the roster up to sunday. If not, ignore! ;)

Also guys, play with free agents, this is small league, so there bound to be a lot of great players still free.

Just shuffled a couple of players again. :) Trying to see which players, among the interchangeable ones, will play more games this week.

There are live stats now? Nice.

My guys play a bit later, you'll get spanked soon enough. :-p

As for advices...don't forget to make changes tomorrow. Both George and Howard wont play (injury and suspension), so don't forget to put Dixon and Gooden in.

Also, Devean George isn't that great in fantasy basketball...maybe try to find someone else on the wire?

Also, changes for next day can be done until 12pm (midnight) pacific of previous day. Not lineups - that can be changed until couple of minutes before actual games - but adding/removing players and such.

Pick Krstic, that's my recommendation. He even plays tomorrow, and even if not, not a bad player...

I mean, Brent Barry might be fine for a game, two or three...but you could use Krstic over whole season.

Can I pick up free agents instantly? I don't want to drop one of my players, get Krstic taken before I can do anything, and end up screwed.

Yep, they are picked instantly. Also, there's waiver period of 2 days I think. That means, if you drop one of your players, noone can pick him up until those two days pass, and after that, if more teams show interest - have to add him while on waivers - team with highest waiver priority gets him.

On league page it's actually showed as team with lowest waiver number. So, Levy would got the player now. He'd then dropped to 10.

Think Foye will be excellent too. Mobley maybe.

Crawford will give you points, assists and occasional steal, but might screw your percentages and turnovers.

Foye is injured and will be out for at least several weeks, otherwise I wouldn't have dropped him, and he isn't a Ron Artest whose talent is worth holding unless suffering a long-term injury. Crawford only plays two games this week. Mobley has some new competition for his position, and he hasn't shown much in the pre-season.

Krstic is a nice talent though. I was thinking about picking him up, but decided to go with Hill instead since Hill had some nice numbers in the pre-season and Suns open their season against three offensive-oriented teams.

I snatched Krstic

Last question: If I switch a player in a month, do I keep the dropped players' points up to then? Or it's erased?

Had no idea about Foye. And almost traded for him in one other league.

And damn Ginobili having great all around game.

Good thing I actually am a fan of his, and have him in another league. :-)

Okey how does the point system work, Neb?
Ginobili has 14 points, 8 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 block, 1 3pts and 2 turnovers. oh n 40% fg & 83% ft.

Shouldn't he have more than 8 points.

Like, let's say Krstic get's... 100 points in the next month or week or whatever, I haven't played this before so I don't know how many points they get. If I drop him then, do I keep those 100 points in addition to whatever the new guy gets? Or are they taken away when I drop the player.

Ah. I think I know what both of you mean...

If goes like this.

No points, it's weekly head to head matches. This week, for instance, I'm against Rev, Shack, you're against Flava (Mr. Before). Monday to Sunday, every week until sometimes in march, or april.

Scoring goes this way. All the stats your guys played are counted, and only for that week. Next week it starts again.

So, example, Joe Johnson had 3 games that week, and altogether had 55 points, 23 rebs, 20 assists, 5 blocks, 5 steals, 10 turnovers, and shot 40% and 80% ft, and had 10 threes. All of that is added to all of the other guys' stats that played that week. There are nine categories, so final score for that week could be anywhere from 9-0, to 0-9. Whoever wins a category, gets a point. And it's all counted during the season.

I prolly messed up explanations, but it's late, and you guys will see a clearer picture after first week.

Yeah, we are competing on a category-by-category basis. You just need to beat your opponent in 5 out of 9 (certainly there could be ties), so it doesn't matter if the players on your opponent's team are outscoring you 300-10 in a week, if all your players are all rebound beasts with blocks, you could still win 2 out of those 3 categories.

Ohhh I didn't know that at all. Thought it was accumulated points.

I guess I'm taking Darko back now. Need those blocks. :funny:

edit - fuck, waivers. grr ... crap.

Yeah, exactly, and that's why all around players are more worthy in this league. Shawn Marion for instance, for couple of years now is considered almost the best fantasy player. Has it all, points, rebounds, occasional assist. But also, he steals and blocks, and scores a three or two. Present in every category.

I think Roto (Rotissiere or something like that) league is similar to what you thought, Shack.

Roto league is also a little different. In there, all stats are cumulated, but you are ranked in each category at the end, so if you win one category, you get 10 points (in a 10-team league), and who has the most total ranking points wins.

Point league is what Shack was thinking about.
