Re: How about NBA fantasy league too?
Ah, still missed the draft. My lineup looks ok, I guess. Need to analyze more.
EDIT: eeerrhhh, too many guards and need a center and/or PF.

Well, I'm pretty pleased with my team, though I'm not sure how it stacks up in a fantasy sense.

ah crap, forgot about this. Still did pretty good though . LeBron, Tony Parker, Durant, and Brandon Roy. No good big guys is the only problem.

Re: How about NBA fantasy league too?
OK, my scoring and 3-point shooters seem to be abundant, but weak in rebounding and blocks, and the injury risk for Zydrunas Ilgauskas scares me the most with no solid backup, except for playing Gasol at center, but then nobody could play PF. EDIT: that proposed trade was a highway robbery! Mine is much more fair.

Thought you might be really really desperate for a center. Yours is fair but I have too good a feeling about big Tyson this year to give him up.

You got a lot of PF/centers; there has to be one you're willing to give up besides Darko (like Okur since Bosh and Bargnani cover his stats pretty well). I'm not afraid to trade Hinrich, since I think both West and Foye will play good minutes this year, but I'm more willing to part with Hamilton since he mainly provides scoring, which is my strongest category. Overall though, I definitely want to trade one of those four.

I will finish dead last. There's absolutely no talent on my team (despite Stoudemire and Kidd)

Andre Iguodala finished with 18/6/6/2 last season; that's some serious fantasy numbers, and he is only 23. Your assist category is pretty much set with Kidd and Billups. Adding Barbosa and Crawford, I'd say your backcourt is quite loaded. The frontcourt is indeed a concern, but Jamison is a 20/8 guy when healthy, and Granger will get more minutes in his 3rd season, definitely a sleeper. Krstic averaged over 16 points last year too. Basically a young team run by a veteran point guard with upward potential everywhere. Not bad at all.

Unfortunately this isn't a keeper league BTW: Does anyone know a place where you can play a keeper league (NFL, NBA; MLB, whatever) for free?

Re: How about NBA fantasy league too?
Looks much better. At least I don't have some all-star caliber player stuck in the utility role and have to play someone way above their ranking in another position. Now I just need to hope Ray Allen doesn't break down.

Re: How about NBA fantasy league too?
Starting tomorrow! makeshift's lineup looks good. Going to be a tough one this week. Shack, you sure you want to sit Hamilton on the bench and play Darko? And how come is Kapono playing the 3rd forward instead of Bargnani? And AR, Mike Bibby is injured.

By clicking on "Thursday" "Friday", etc., I can just set up the players playing that day and not worry about the rest, no? Or do the lineups I set today last for an entire week or something. I fixed it just in case, but yeah.

Re: How about NBA fantasy league too?
I don't really understand how this works.
Like, do we edit our roster for each day in the week? Or are we stuck with whatever players we start for the entire week, whether they are playing or not. I mean, I've got three guys on my entire team playing tonight. Do I want to start all three of them even though two of them are bench players on my team?

Re: How about NBA fantasy league too?
Also, what is a utility player? Like, do I have to move them off the utility position and into a starting position to get points?

Re: How about NBA fantasy league too?
I'm definitley leaning towards setting them up for individual days. Selecting days ahead of time and being able to set your roster for that day would make no sense otherwise.
Though I'm not 100% positive. The Help button is junk.
Utility means you can just put any player there regardless of position, I have to assume.
This set your lineup thing doesn't really make much difference with so few players, I mean I'm set up for the next two weeks and there isn't a single day every one of my players can't get in. Probably if you picked 30 each or something though, there would actually be decisions.

Re: How about NBA fantasy league too?
The weird thing though if that if I put Monta Ellis as my starting PG tonight he becomes my starting PG for the week, which I obviously don't want when I have Gilbert Arenas.

Re: How about NBA fantasy league too?
makeshift, it makes no difference if a player is assigned the starting guard or utility. As long as they are not on the bench (BN), their stats will be counted in equal weight. So you don't have to switch starting positions unless it's necessary (like when Hinrich isn't playing but all my other PGs are).
Shack, from what I see, if we change the lineup for one day, all the following days are changed as well, so definitely double-check to make sure you have the lineups you want for each day after submitting the change. I just set up the entire week and will update the next week's on the weekend.
I'm not switching my lineups all that much, just making sure have all the players who are playing on each individual day included in the 10 counted positions.
