Batter Up!

So down 3-1, still a chance but need 3 great games in a row by CC, Hughes and Petiette.

so CC wins for the 2nd time! Yankees down 3-2. Too Bad Yankee Manager didn't just pitch Pettiette in Game 2, instead of switching pitchers.

Anyway, Yankee bats finally came alive and we need Hughes in Game 6 to get to a Game 7!

Now let see if Giants can make it 3-1. Which I want, so we can see if the Phillies can come back.

Thinking about the Philly Giant series, I want to showed EVERYONE how I will DAAAAA Gun you all.

While everyone just said blah blah blah blah, the Phils pitching blah blah blah the Phillies will win the WS.

I DAAAA Gun you all by saying let's see how the layoff hurts the Philly pitching and let's see how that impressive Giant staff pitches and let's see if the Phillies can start hitting as they didn't hit much vs the Reds.

Well the Phils get 7 hits vs the Giants in Game 1 and that includes 2 by Werth and 1 by Halladay.

So it should be interesting to see how the Philly Giants series stands after 3 or 4 games.

DAAAAA Gun.

So Giants up 3-1. Let's see if they or the Yankees can come back.

DAAAAA Gun!!!!!

PS Gun. You picked the Twins and the Phillies for the WS. Not looking too good. DAAAAA Gun!!!!

You really are such a waste. There are 2 series going on.

And did anyone else pick the Giants over the Phillies or even give the Giants a chance to win this series.

I remember you didn't.

Bump. So nobody watching baseball or all just disappointed the Yankees and Giants are still playing.

So anyway I am curious to see how halladay and lincecum pitch tonight.

As Halladay can't lose 2 playoff games in this series.

Boy that would be a bust of a season, even with his perfect game and no hitter.

The only thing that makes me feel good about the remainder of this series is that the Phils have the pitching rotation set up to win and in the past during this season they have relied on their pitchers to win when the bats went cold like they have now.

But yeah, it's a long shot at this point.

Well as long as the team thinks 1 game at a time, it is doable. Shit, that is only a 3 game winning streak.

But the hard part for the Phillies is the same thing I said from the beginning.

The Giants have 3 good starters in the next 3 games and the Phillies haven't been hitting in 2 straight series. (I don't remember if they were hitting at the end of the regular season?)

They were hitting pretty well at the end of the season (remember the 12 game winning streak?), but the bats are streaky, so yes, that's a problem.

Phillies aren't hitting because they have been facing good to great pitchers, and they in fact have scored as many runs as Giants have in this series. It's National League featuring two excellent pitching staffs, so lower scoring could be expected. Overall this has been a very even and entertaining series, and I'd actually say Phillies has a better chance of coming back than Yankees does.

Anyone know.

That rain is coming down. There is a chance of the thunderstorm in about an hour.

Suppose to rain for 2 days so I wonder what they will so.

Also teams might switch their Game 6 pitcher is rained out.

Maybe, but the rain is very light and it will be off an on. It may break up due to the radar. The game is going on now.

Well he is going for his 20th win of the season.

Hopefully now Yanks can get to pitcher with 2nd go round.

Umpire gives a 4 ball walk with 3 pitches that hit the ball strike line.

At least the umpire has been bad for both sides, as I don't think he knows where the strike zone is.

But still on that 3-0 count, you have to give the pitcher 1 close strike.

Ump sucks.

The ump hasn't been giving the low strike. But that first pitch to Vlad was a great strike pitch. About 3 inches over the bottom line.

So instead of it being 0-1, it is 1-0 and the Yankee pitcher has to be sure to throw a strike.

So again, ump sucks and should be replaced by a ball strike beeper.

Yeah I hate the intentional walk. But Vlad hadn't hit a ball good all night.

And only hit the ball good, after the ump gave him a good count as detailed above.

Well it looks like the Yankees are going to come up alittle short this year.

Guess they should be upped their offer in July to get Lee instead of Texas.

Anyway hope they go after Lee and Crawford in the off season as they didn't really upgrade at all this year.

Another big question is Jeter, who really died the second half of the year.

Then the other big questions are catcher and right field, Swisher?

Also questions on there middle relief???

Also I hope the Yankee Manager goes to Chicago as I don't like his managing...like his line up choices.

PS. Nice strike out UMP, as all pitches to posada were out of the box. Now that is a great way to give the hitters a chance, you IDIOT.

Strikes out the side. I wouldn't be surprized if they bring Lewis out to finish the game, since they do have a 5-run lead.

Nope, they are bringing out Feliz. Comon, at least you could've gave Lewis a shot.
