 Re: Barbarian
This was awesome. It's best to go in knowing as little as possible but it's a wild ride, and the ending is iconic. A-

 Re: Barbarian
I thought this was pretty excellent, if a tad not extreme enough. Honestly, I don't read reviews but I was told by a few people that it gets wild, so my mind was racing with ideas, and it turned out not to be as crazy as I thought it would be. It's still cool, but basically Creep (the British Underground horror) but with a new gloss of paint and set of circumstances, and I very much liked it. It's very well made. It lures you in with dialogue and second-guessing everything. Georgina Campbell is likeable and attractive. I hope to see her in more. Justin Long plays that type, lol. And Bill Skarsgård, well, I was surprised he wasn't the villain. Anyway, very good horror film.

 Re: Barbarian
I mostly agree with algren's review. It is really good, but given the hype around the movie, I was expecting it to get even crazier in the third act. Especially after the homeless guy said "she aint even the worst thing inside that house." So I was little disappointed at the ending.
However, with a few days of thought behind it, I really appreciate the movie for what it was. It keeps you guessing the entire way regarding who is good and who is bad and then defiantly says "well who are you to judge the mother?"

 Re: Barbarian
Agree with both the above reviews in that I’d heard the crazy/insane ending hype and it didn’t quite live up to that. However, i loved it and was thoroughly entertained. We need more Georgina Campbell please.

 Re: Barbarian
I enjoyed this, but after the reception of it being "so crazy!" I expected a bit more. It was pretty similar to Don't Breathe. Still, it was massively entertaining and really quite funny and creepy.

 Re: Barbarian
I loved this. Its multi layered approach works very well and the cast is good too. It just feels and plays different than a regular film, despite also featuring some horror tropes. It's mostly very eerie and tense all around, yet there's some levity to it as well. Seen few better films from last year.
