Guess I'm going to be the one that doesn't like this one. It was okay but nothing special.

I loved it! The music was splendid, and I thought the evil stepmother was wicked, and very scary. It's a great movie that I enjoy everytime I view it.

Going off what I remember from childhood, I'd give it an A.
In 2nd grade, it was actually one of my favorite films.
Haven't seen it in many years. Don't really want to: I'm afraid it might ruin memories like other films have when I review them later.

A solid and funny Disney flick, definitely better than Sleeping Beauty but not as good as Snow White.
A-- or 9/10

Sleeping Beauty is better imho, better songs, better animation, more adventure. Both are better than Snow White, but I love them all.
A of course

I liked the songs In Cinderella better, the one where mice and birds fix Cinderella's dress is my favorite. The animation is very good on both movies, but SB has a more rough-edge style, while Cinderella's drawings are more rounded. Plus, Sleeping Beauty may have a little more adventure, but Cinderella's quantity and quality of humor is far superior; also the charatcers are better in Cinderella in my opinion, and their personality is more developped.
I like both of them, though.

 Re: Cinderella
This movie is a true delight. In my honest opinion, the films Disney made before this are very slow but pretty decent (Dumbo, Pinocchio) or downright unwatchable (Snow White, Fantasia.) But this film, even though small in scale, things actually happen and it is well paced. The characters are either charming or hilarious, though the Prince is definitely one of Disney's blandest. The cat is given far too much to do though, I would have preferred more scenes with the stepmother and stepsisters, who are deliciously mean and funny. The end always makes me wish they had gone with the Grimm version and had the stepsisters feet cut up, but I guess that is too graphic for children. I guess the film's messages aren't too good, but its a classic.

 Re: Cinderella
Definitely a favorite among early Disney films. Animation was the best up to this point, the depth in the drawings is astounding. And the comic relief is really strong here. Much prefer the mice and cat to the dwarfs in Snow White. The drama is pretty good too. Definitely many can find Cinderella relatable, though my relatives were never so abusive, I’m sure many can relate to feeling unsafe and unwanted in their own home.

 Re: Cinderella
A nice rebound from the skit era for Disney. It takes everything they learned from before the war and smushes it all into one film. And it works! Cinderella is instantly likeable, and while I wish she could have gotten to the ball without a fairy grandmother, she is a more active character than Snow White. Training the animals to be her friends pays off huge at the end, and is ever so cute throughout the movie.
