I'm a sucker for inspirational sports movies, and unlike Disney's stab at one last year (Million Dollar Arm), this one totally succeeds. A feel good, positively heartwarming tale that follows a formula but does it right. B+

'Nice' is an appropriate adjective for this. It makes you feel good at the end but you don't really get to know any of the kids very much and Kevin Costner acts the same as he has in most of his recent efforts.

I really enjoyed this. Costner was great and it had a ton of heart and was a very easy watch. There were a few subplots which should have been eliminated (Costner thinking of being the coach of another team, the thing with the daughter getting hurt) which kind of effected the movie a bit for me but still I really, really enjoyed it.
