2/10 -> F

So the only reason we decided to watch this was because we saw a DVD in the bookshop which had "The movie that inspired James Cameron for Avatar" on the front cover. We didn't bother to read what the hell the movie was about. It was an Asylum production so I expected a cheap Avatar rip off.

But a couple of minutes in I realized that this was actually an adaptation of John Carter of Mars series, the one that Disney/Pixar are doing for next year. I didn't even think it was possible for them to film this book because of the rights, but apparently it's in public domain now so it's everybody's grab...

Anyway, it's Asylum so what you expect is what you get. We had a slight blast watching this one. It's actually charmingly bad. That's the only reason why it's not getting 1/10. Also I was saying throughout the movie that the lead actress has to be an old porn actress, she just had that ragged ex-porn looks. And I was right, hahaha...
