Bradley should see this if he somehow gets his hands on it as I'm sure he'd love this time travel flick from Spain. The film has a very simple set-up which I won't disclose here at the fear of spoiling something. Let me just say that it is one of very few time travel movies where in the end, everything ties together and ends up in a logical way after rethiniking the whole thing and that is quite an achievement in the genre. However because it was obviously the intention to make this simple enough and not to get lost in all the time travel paradoxes any complexity of the story was compromised. Thus, I could see more than half of the twists coming during the first five minutes of the movie. That's not to say there weren't a couple of surprises either, but on the whole, it really tells a somewhat simple story. I liked the ambiguity of the leading character, but as for the character himself, I just found him to be a bit annoying. Not sure whether that was the character or the actor playing him, though.
In any case, if you're a fan of time travel movies (like I am), you should check this out as it's a pretty interesting take on it, but don't expect anything mind-blowing.

Plot Hole Man: Hello film I am here to poke holes in you. Film: Really? Plot Hole Man: Yes now bend over so we can do this Film: (produces whip and gun) Time for you to be my bitch!! Plot Hole Man: Eeeeeekkkk
The screenplay is tighter then the hole of a devout 16 year old Mormon and all the better for it. I felt like I was eating a multilayered cake, it started off kinda bland but passable and as I got deeper each layer revelled new taste delights and had me going all Oooooo and Aaaaaa as previously ramdom events became logical.
That said Hector 1 is abit of an idiot, yes man a masked loon is after you so amble slowly to safety up the path instead of running like a roided up sprinter!!
Heartily reccomended to fans of time travel with brains, so pretty much fans of Primer then.

Funny, I hated Primer, but liked this.

The story is pretty standard predestination paradox stuff, but the main character is so moronic and unlikeable that it really puts a damper on the whole film.
Primer is much better.

 Re: Los cronocrímenes [Timecrimes]
Watched it a couple of months ago. Somewhat liked it. It kinda got on my nerves a couple of times as Hector is really obnoxious in each and every of its "incarnations". The concept is great though. And I feel like that's the only thing they worked on in this movie. The characters are lacking and only serve as rather bland chess pieces for the concept to unfold. It could definitely use a bit more drama and humor. It would be better if it was more rooted in either thriller or horror. Balancing between the two gave it a strange vibe I wasn't sure worked as it should.
