Re: 40 Days and 40 Nights It was cute and entertaining, but nothing more than that. An average romantic comedy bolstered by a likable cast.

That said, this movie was actually 100x better than it had any right to be and had my wife & I cracking up. The 2 leads are perfect. I am surprised at just how committed the filmmakers were to the raunch and it works well. I am again reminded why Josh Hartnett was very popular at one time and Shannon Sossymon is drop dead gorgeous. Hartnett abandoned Hollywood but what the hell happened to her? She was great her and is stunning.
