 Con Air
Con Air Quote: Con Air is a 1997 American action-thriller film by Touchstone Pictures that stars Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and John Malkovich. It was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, producer of Crimson Tide and The Rock and directed by Simon West. The film borrows its title from the nickname of the Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System.
The film featured the 1997 hit single "How Do I Live", originally performed by LeAnn Rimes and performed for the film by Trisha Yearwood. The film was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Song and Best Sound, losing to Titanic in both categories. It was also declared by the Golden Raspberry Awards as having the "Worst Reckless Disregard for Human Life and Public Property" of any film in 1997.

Another very good action film that I happened to love. Not quote a top 100 flick, but still a fun film.

Like Zingy said, one of the best action movies ever. Cage is the ultimate action hero here. A

Easyily one of the best films of 1997, brilliant film, it had the characters, the action and the story, all brillaint. The different array of characters was what made the film a success

Not one of my all-time favorites, but definitely one of the ten best action flicks I have ever seen. The acting is pretty good for such a movie, especially by Cage and Malkovich (yeah, I liked his overacting) and of course the crazy Buscemi. Extremely entertaining from the very beginning to the very end and is supported by a good soundtrack. Thumbs up!

A guilty pleasure of mine, I just find it very amusing and fun. It is photographed in a competent, eye pleasing style and the cast is full of major actors that are at the peak of their powers when this was made even if this movie isn't worthy of them. "Put the bunny back in the box" one of the funniest lines I've seen in any action movie. One of my favorites from the 90s.

I love this movie. I absolutely loved Malkovich's villianous character and Steve Buschemis surprise appearance. This is one of the most weirdest character Nicholas Cage played with his southern accent and all. I cant forget the trailer when Phil Collins "In the Air" played in the background, it seems to fit the movie well

Wow and I thought this site's tastes couldn't get any worse. What the fuck? Best action movies?
Are you fucking kidding? What a pathetic joke of a movie this was.
I love Nicholas Cage but this is the worst performance I've seen. That phony accent and his expressionless face.
Story was insanely stupid. The cheese overwhelming and the script with Nic Cage rattling off barbecue every few lines. The fuck.

 Re: Con Air
This movie is fun, but its easily the worst of the "Cage gets thrown in the air at the end of the movie" Trilogy. And Cage's hair and accent are at their most terrible. But it is entertaining, has good action, and a great supporting cast. B+
