This was Schwarzenegger's last great action film, until T3.Good one-liners, good script, and a solid thriller along with action and effects. The EMP gun was definitely a sweet gun. Schwarzenegger is solid, along with the rest of the cast.

Solid A

I'll note this as also the end of Schwarzenegger's prime, which I think lasted from 87 to here, 96.

He made some good and solid films after and before this time as well, but I think this is where he had relatively no setbacks, with the exception being Junior.

Predator, The Running Man, Twins, Total Rekall, Kindergarten Cop, T2, Last Action Hero, True Lies, and Eraser. I would say all these films would get an A or A+ from me.

Pretty nice actioner. By far not one of Arnies best but very solid. B+

Typical Schwarzenegger actioner. Entertaining, incredibly silly, full with one-liners. Not one of his best, but better than his more recent ones.

This is a really badass and underrated Schwarzenegger film. I honestly think I love just as much as True Lies which for me isn't on par with some of his best work like Terminator, T2, Total Recall and Predator, but it just doesn't get the recognition that it deserves either which I find pretty sad. The CGI is the only thing that hasn't aged that well, but thankfully there isn't too much it. Vanessa L. Williams and Robert Pastorelli are such likable supporting characters though and James Caan is such a great villain in this. It was cool seeing Nick Chinlund and Patrick Kilapatrick show up in this too since I didn't remember that they were even in it and Chuck Russel did a fantastic job handling the action sequences here, especially the Dock battle which is still pretty fucking epic IMO.

I just watched this again myself last month, I remember seeing it when I was young and thinking especially the gun was very cool. I didn't remember the film in detail, but largely it felt very familiar and I enjoyed seeing it again, but it's not one of those films that I feel particularly nostalgic about either. The cast is good though and it's got some pretty cool action, the plane sequence is very good. It has a pretty decent story too of corruption and Arnold as the protector, but it's more of a breezy, light watch than something I feel very invested in.
