For another perspective on what was potentially lost check out this unaired Spike Jonze video. Now, it is hard to believe that people thought Bush was the better man for the job. However, people forget how the media hated Gore and spun everything he did as being fake or inauthentic, while spinning everything Bush did as authentic and real. When the media called the race for Bush late election night I got depressed and drove around O.K. City for a couple of hours. I started crying feeling America had made a terrible mistake. Gore was not a great campaigner and was not a perfect candidate, but he was vastly superior to Bush. I never understood guys like Maher, Moore, and Robbins supporting Nader, thinking there was not much difference between the two.
