The Weinsteins taking over Knight Rider
"I know you've heard the rumors now for the past few years that KNIGHT RIDER was coming to the big screen and it never made any progress. It was last set up at Revolution Studios who was never able to get it off the ground. Now it's set up at the newly formed Weinstein Co. who are looking to bring the adventures of Michael and KITT to the big-screen. Creator Glen Larson signed a deal with the Weinsteins for rights to the property, which he and the studio hopes will be a lucrative franchise."
