 The Omen Predictions
I think it's one of the more interesting films to predict this summer, considering its marketing campaign. I'm not quite sure how it'll do in terms of its opening weekend, since it has three days prior to make money, but I see around $55 million total.

Has anyone else seen the two international trailers that are online? They're incredibly well constructed. If the TV spots are similar in tone, I see a very high gross. Click on International Trailers #1 and 2
If I was to throw out numbers, I guess it'd be a 10 million Tuesday, 25 million three day, 35 million five day, 45 million six day, with a total of 85-95 million.

I think it'll make $6 million on Tuesday (fittingly enough), $15 million over the three day, $30 million over the six day, and around $60 million total. Or maybe $66 million.

I finally saw the trailer for this and .. I'll tell ya: The whole release date of 06/06/06 is going to backfire on this movie for a movie no one asked for, especially when the original holds up quite well..

The trailers were pretty poor i think which won't really help matters. However it is the only adult looking horror out there so it should do ok
23m 6 day
52m total

This looks pretty bad, and the 6/6/06 thing is just a weak gimmick, IMO. I'm looking for a $25 Million 6-day on the way to about $60 Million.

It will do just fine, even if it does look pretty shitty.

I totally disagree. The 6/6/06 thing will be a HUGE awareness raiser. You know people will comment about it being that day, and I'm sure that people will also note how that devil movies comes out today.

We're a week away, so I'm bumping this up. What are some updated thoughts? The tracking isn't all that great, but there is awareness for this. What kind of Tuesday number would we need to realistically expect a $20M weekend?

Loving the 666 posts thing.
I have confidence in this movie, i think it will be a hit ($50M+).
I also think theres a small possibility of a breakout.

I'm gonna say this movie ends up tanking because of the whole 06/06/06 Marketing in a world where religion is taken very seriously and because of that, this will backfire on this movie.. They should've just stuck with a friday release date or just not made this at all..

I dont think this World of KJ Omen marketing is gonna help the movie much.............. BUT!!!! If BKB uses this avatar I think people will rush to see the film.
