 See No Evil
Okay, so... I know I shouldn't be looking forward to this film. All signs point to it being a total and complete disaster. The director's pedigree is in porn and music videos. The writer's only previous credit is wrestling episodes. It's starring a wrestler. It's produced by, like, the CEO of wrestling.
Even with all of that, the tv sposts are kind of interesting. There seems to be some kind of religious angle behind it, which could be interesting, and the visuals seem to be top notch. Also, it's an R rated (strong grusome violence and gore throughout ) slasher film, so how bad can it really be?
Is anyone else mildly interested in this? Or am I just crazy?

Video rental in a bad way. WWE produced combined it with being directed by a porn director who directed boy band videos spells bad omens for the film. Tthe notriety of this film will rank with Uwe Boll films

I'm actually looking forward to this. I miss old-school slashers and the visual style looks interesting. Plus, when was the last time a porn director helmed a Hollywood film? Should pretty much guarantee lots of flesh, eviscerated or otherwise, on display.

It looks like a typical by-the-numbers trashtastic slasher film.
Always good to have at least one a year. I'll see it.

This movie is a reason why films like Scream get blamed for the bad slashers wave!

I remember being very interested when I saw the trailer, even if it did look a litte....trashy. I'd like to see it.

Nah. This looks like a genuine slasher film made for horror fans. The problem with films like Urban Legends and I Know What You Did Last Summer is that they weren't REAL horror films, and they weren't made for horror fans.

This one stars a wrestler named Kane. C'mon!

I've seen commercials for this lately and I've noticed that they show as little as the wrestler guy and the whole WWE involvement as possible.

I hope you guys aren't suggesting that Kane can't act....
If you've seen WWE shows, you'd know he can act his way out of a paper bag as good as the next guy!

Well it was mentioned it was directed by a porn director, do we also get the experimental tech music in the background for the film?

The commericals look cool.
If it's playing nearby, I think I'll check it out this weekend.

I like my wrestlers to stay away from the screen (except the rock) and stay in the ring doing what they know. This movie looks awful and i'd rather give head to osama then see it.

This looks shockingly violent. Who cares about the pedigree of the film, the marketing has been effective. I have been anticipating this one for a while now. Kane is so perfect for the villianous madman and i think this will be a very shocking horror film. I will see this for sure this weekend, after DVC of course.
