Big drop for SM4, with MI3 it should fall hard this weekend.

Hmm...American Haunting got a little more than estimated....maybe $6,000,000 this weekend if it's lucky.

I'm not sure whether M:I-3's number is the actual count or not. It seems unlikely that it's exactly 4,000, but all the other counts have been released.
Next Week's Estimates
Poseidon - 3,500+
Just My Luck - 2,500+
Goal! The Dream Begins - 1,000

I don't believe that AKEELAH isn't losing theaters, because it's not playing at mine anymore.

Maybe it lost some but gained the same amount? Doubtful but possible.

That could be it. I wish they'd say how many a film loses, as well as how many they add.

Gaol will be lucky to make $2.5 million next weekend, probably won't even make that...
Pretty big for Hoot, by the way. Should score a $8+ million opening for sure.

Hoot can get a low $3,000 PTA and still make $9 million for the weekend.

Poseidon's estimate is nice....$35M, imo, is a lock.
Just My Luck will be closer to 3,000 and open to about $13M.
A movie making $8M from over 3,000? Is awful.

I don't see Hoot getting $3000 PTA. Even $2500 isn't assured. The buzz, judging from some of the quantifiable measures, is as low as I've ever seen.

Univesal is shooting themselves in the foot by only increasing United 93 by 24 theaters. If they had by 400 I think it could have had a really minimal drop, maybe even increased.

Not quite the record, but still fantastic. It needs a $17,300 PTA to pass $70 million this weekend.

Expected for MI3 IMO. This is the start of the summer, always a good time for a huge theater count.
