Post Grade The Last Movie You Watched
Hey, we gotta have some movie related stuff here. :D

So, yeah, just give a grade for the last movie you saw, and maybe a comment? Do whatever you want. :)

Ladder 49- B-

I thought it was average. Not great, but not horrible. It got very repetitive after the first 30 minutes, but it was still good.

Looney Tunes-C

As said on BOM it was mildly entertaining but too stupid in the end. Same level as Space Jam.

Ali G: In Da House

Grade: A+

This movie is so hilarious and Da Ali G show itself is hilarious! There are very few british movies that I can watch and actually forget about the accent during the movie but this one is one of them.

See that's the Bugs Bunny I want to see in a movie. Not some 3-D looking one next to Jenna Elfman.

Good, classic horror. A little dated but still a groundbreaking classic with plenty o' gore :)

I dont blame you at all BTTF. There are somethings you dont mess with. Like changing the look of the original transformers to conform them with today's time .....

Sorry, had to rant.

2001: A Space Odyssey - 9.5/10 (or maybe 10/10)

Perfect Stanley Kubrick movie!!! Kubrick was ahaed of its time - amazing!

Also the soundtrack fits perfectly (Thus Spoke Zarathustra,...)!

:D

I've heard that a lot of people who do not understand how true reporting is done do not like this movie and those who do know how reporting is done seem to really enjoy it.

And that has nothing to do with my 'not liking' the movie...which btw, I did like. My C grade is for 'ok'.

But I disliked strongly predictability (if that's the word) of movie. And gulible Bitsy.

I guess I'm the only one who doesnt buy into the whole sports movie genre. Never liked it. Friday Night Lights, everyone around me loved it, I left feeling bleh ... which I knew I would.

A Dirty Shame - D

I wasn't into this bizarre story at all, and I didn't laugh nearly as much as it tried to make me. I just don't see the point of making this "movie".

Mean Creek - A-

A well-made film with terrific actings, some of the best I've seen this year. The story is actually its weakest part, IMO, as each person is pretty one-dimensional, and I saw well in advance that they are going to make the character of George be nice at certain points but very obnoxious in general, so that the viewers wouldn't have much sympathy for him and be on the side of the other guys. Still, a gripping drama and the shortest two hours I've felt in theater for the last few months.
