Vampires: The Turning
Vampires: The TurningQuote: Vampires: The Turning is a martial arts film about vampires. It stars Colin Egglesfield, Stephanie Chao and Patrick Bauchau. The film is advertised as a sequel to the two other John Carpenter Vampires films but features a completely different vampire origin story. The film was released in 2005.

I've actually seen this on cable.
And it was pretty fucking bad.
It's worse than Dracula II: Ascension

This movie is just an embarassement to the Vampires-series. Not that it has ANYTHING (at all) to do with the two previous installements, but it still carries the name of the franchise. What a shameful conclusion to a frranchise that started out with a movie that rivals From Dusk till Dawn as the most fun vampire flick. The first sequel with Jon Bon Jovi wasn't great, but still very enjoyable and entertaining. This one is simply embarassing and awful.
The acting is beyond sub-par, the plot is laughable, the action boring and there is not even enough gore or humor to entertain. The only thing that saves this one from a straight F are some nice fights (bot I usually don't see vampire flicks for kung-fu action, eh?).
