Horror View says it caught up with Jonathan Breck, The Creeper in the "Jeeper Creepers" films, who revealed that a third movie is in development.

According to the site, Jeepers Creepers 3 will begin filming this summer for a possible 2006 release date.

FULL STORY!

It's a horror film. It's low budget. It's a villain who can be made into a series of films. It broke even. What did you expect?

I didn't see the sequel, and something tells me I won't see the third.

I did like the first movie, though, because it was a bit more clever and self-aware than typical horror movies are.

Same here, Libs. I don't know if you have seen "Saw", but it's the same for me as Jeepers Creepers (although Saw is better than Jeepers Creepers). I probably will end up seeing the sequel to Saw, but I doubt it will be anything near as good as the first. Something that made Saw so good was the ending. How can they possibly top it, without making it so unbelievable (in the bad way) that it sucks?

I liked both of them, and though it is unnecessary, I'll still be watching this one.

It will do well, thats fore sure.

The JC2's worldwide total was great and it made over $60,000,000 in rentals.

Jeepers Creepers started off brilliantly. Then that bloody psychic showed up to spout useless exposition and predict future scenes for seemingly no reason.

Having said that, another sequel's a completely pointless endeavour. But it'll still turn a profit, so more power to 'em.

In Jeepers, the Creeper attacked college students. In JC2, he went after high school kids.

What's next? Junior high students. It's safe to say that Jeepers Creepers 3 is the film Victor Salva wanted to make all along.

The one Roid Rage thinks

that the director Victor Silva will continue to make Jeepers Creepers sequels

till he has run out teenage boys for him to have for his casting couch auditions

Silva is a child-molester I believe #-o

Honestly, I liked Jeepers Creepers 1, and I thought the second was even more entertaining. So yeah, I'll be seeing this. I do wish they had gotten there idea for it to be a western made, I've always wanted to see a Western horror movie (and no, The Missing does not count! )

I wonder if this will be the "long-awaited" Jeepers Creepers Prequel.

Well then you should rent the sequel and see how much better it really is and trhe way it ended totally set up a 3rd movie.. Now from what I read, they don't want to pursue a continuation of the ending of the 2nd film, but make this into a Prequel and set it back in like some goofy timeframe of the 1800's.. Now that's bad when a good idea for the 3rd movie is already mapped out for them.. ](*,)

Oh c'mon, what are they gonna do, Jeepers Creepers in 2027? Period piece horror movies can rule when done right.

What the hell are you talking about?? :-k Did you see how the 2nd one ended??? It was perfectly setup for a 3rd one and They don't have to set it in 2027, just make it where the 2nd one leaves off, give or take a month or so in timeline...

Company of the Wolves(1984) is an example of a great period horror. I dont know if you can classify Brotherhood of the Wolf also as action horror set in the revolutionary war
