This was my favourite movie as a kid. I just had a crappy VHS copy, and I used to watch it over and over again. It was so crappy that entire scenes of the movie were lost to white noise, but I still loved the film. When I bought the DVD, I was finally able to watch the entire film, and it was just as magical as I remembered it. Superman 2 is one of those films where I'm completely baffled as to why others think it's so great. It's got some great moments, but the whole film stinks of re-shoots and crappy editing and it's campy beyond belief.
